
Jason Anderson returned to the podium on Saturday with a runner-up finish at the penultimate round of the 2019 AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Budds Creek Motocross Park in Mechanicsville, Maryland.In the 450 class Jason Anderson claimed his third podium of the outdoor season going (4th) in moto1 and (2nd) in moto2 for 2nd overall today. Marvin Musquin finished 3rd overall going (3rd) in moto1 and (3rd) in moto2 and he is 2nd overall in the championship.
“My weekend went pretty good,” Anderson said. “In the first moto, I got a good start and kind of got pushed and had to come through up to fourth. In the second moto, I got a good start and ended up around fifth or sixth and had to push my way up to P2, which is a good overall for the day.”
In the 250 class Michael Mosiman after finishing 5th in moto1 suffered a first turn crash in moto2 finishing 23rd good for 10th in the overall. Jordan Bailey went (15th) in moto1 and (16th) in moto2 for 15th overall. Thomas Covington was back after missing round due to illness finishing (26th) in moto1 and (34th) in moto2 for 29th overall.
