At the 7th round of the season, Musquin obtains the 5th consecutive podium and now he’s only 6 points from the lead of the championship
After a soft start Webb recovers passing his teammate Musquin and at the last corner he finds the way to place side by side to Roczen and finish with an advantage of only 28 thousandths to the finish-line thus winning his fourth race of the 2019 season.
Musquin maintains himself constant arriving to the podium with another third place, here are his words:
Musquin: “I had a good pace and I felt comfortable but then I started tightening up a little bit and that’s when Cooper caught me. It was too much playing defense for me and he was right there, and then he got me. From there, I had nothing left so I salvaged a third place. It’s good, but I was in a good position for better, so I am a little bit disappointed with that but I’m also happy that we were able to turn it around after the heat race.”
In 250SX class Jordan Bailey, finished 12th after battling inside the top-ten for most of the race, here are his words:
"I had a good start to the day qualifying 10th and going straight to the Main with fifth in the heat race,” Bailey said. “In the Main Event, I got a good start and was running in eighth or ninth and on the last lap I made a little mistake and slid out. It was unfortunate but it happens, I just have to learn from it. Overall it was a good weekend, despite the mistake, but we had good starts and we just have to keep learning each weekend and look forward to Detroit.”
