On the weekend of Romagna all pink, the Airohriders shine in what was the return after more than thirty years of night races on the Marco Simoncelli track in Misano.
In the European’s Woman Cup race, the penultimate of the season, Beatriz Neila after signing the pole position, takes home fast lap and victory, consolidating her leadership in the championship. It is worth pointing out that others five young Airohriders arrived at the finish line, in the first five positions: Neila, Sanchez, Ponziani, Cabrini and Carreño have dominated. As regard the championship ranking things do not change much since only Carreño and Cabrini are reversed in their respective positions. The one of Misano, as mentioned, it was the penultimate race of the championship and the two Spanish will play all at Mugello; nothing is obvious because the particular score of the cup also provides a point for pole position and one for the fast lap and therefore the seven of difference, certainly do not represent a safe margin for the Neila that is worth remembering is the defending champion.
Another night race held on Saturday evening was that of SBK with Lorenzo Zanetti who took the second step of the podium. The Italian rider then arrived in the third position on Sunday and with the points achieved he consolidated his second position in the general ranking.
To conclude the speech about the weekend of Misano, it is worth to be underlined the third place in Race 1 of the SSP300 of Leonardo Carnevali.
Another great victory for Kyle Smith in the British Supersport & British GP2 Championships, this time at the Thruxton circuit. The Triumph rider won the race on Sunday while he finished at the third position on Saturday. Smith is now third in overall standings.
