Enduro Season 2020 finally got underway and AIROH was the great protagonist of the first race, that has been simply amazing, of the Italian Enduro Championship, which took place on July 4th and 5th in Carpineti (RE), a little town of Emilia region lying at 562 metres altitude, at the border of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennine.
A two days race (as the remaining three races) after the two changes due to Coronavirus emergency: the second round on the 1st and 2nd of August in Carsoli (AQ), the third on the 3rd and 4th of October in Breno (BS) and the last round on October 31st and November 1st, in Arma Di Taggia (IM).

For AIROH, the race in Carpineti was a great start of season. The way is 48 km long, paved with stones, paths and undergrowth along the foot of the Apennines, was repeated four times on Saturday and three times on Sunday. The various special races are three, a sum of 19 clocked races during the two days: Cross Test of 3.5 km, Enduro Test of 6 km, Extreme Test of 2 km.
AIROH literally ruled the two days and monopolised the podiums of the Enduro parade, 250 2T class, 300 2T class, 250 4T class and Strangers class.

On Saturday, the Enduro parade shows these results: 1° Brad Freeman (Beta 300 2T), 2° Steve Holcombe (Beta 350 4T), 4° Thomas Oldrati (Honda-RedMoto 250 4T), 5° Antoine Magain (Sherco 250 4T), 6° Matteo Cavallo (Sherco 350 4T).
While on Sunday: 1° Oldrati, 2° Holcombe, 3° Cavallo. The top ten conquered by Daniel McCanney (Honda-RedMoto) with 8° position and 9° position of Freeman matches with the three excellent places on podiums.

In the seven classes of the Italian Enduro Championship, AIROH scored two splendid wins: it won 250 4T class with Oldrati and 450 4T class with Cavallo.
In 300 2T class, Gianluca Martini (Beta) won on Saturday and ended up on second position on Sunday. Again in 300 2T class, Rudy Moroni (KTM) got the fourth and the third places.
In Junior class, a victory on Saturday for the young Manolo Morettini (KTM 250 4T), unfortunately out of top ten on Sunday for an electrical problem.
In Youth 125 2T class, a good race for the young Gabriele Pasinetti, third on Saturday and second on Sunday.

Next meeting for AIROH Enduro riders is the second race of Italian Enduro Championship, planned in Carsoli (AQ) on August 1stand 2nd.
