Although so many limitations and last-minutes changes due to the Covd-19, the on road 2021 season made an important step toward the return to normality. The Airohriders raced in most of the world conquering a lot of successes and titles.
Engaged in CIV, WSBK, MotoE, CEV or ESBK, in Brazil or Australia, the riders, who took to the track and trusted their safety to the Airoh helmet’s company, have not failed to do well and in some cases to win.
The great sporting growth of the two world champions Andrea Locatelli and Manuel Gonzales in the WSBK and SuperSport; has allowed the first on to conquer the Rookie of the year titles and the second one to end the SSP600 season on the third step of the podium. Beatriz Neila, Iker Garcia and Davide Alonso dominate and win respectively the Women’s European Cup, the Yamaha R3 European Cup and the Redbull MotoGp Rookies cup. In the Women’s European Cup the whole podium was occupied by Airohriders, Beatriz Neila, Sara Sanchez and Roberta Ponziani, respectively the first, the second and the third in the overall ranking.
It’s worth to underline emphasizing also the great performances of Maria Herrera, the only girl to compete in the MotoE World Cup, ending in the 12th position, she also conquered, for the second time in a row, the SSP600 Spanish title, a real diamond tip.
Particular satisfaction also for Alessio Salaroli, the winner of the first edition of the Thundervold World Trophy, and for Kevin Calia who, together with the No Limits Motor Team, is the EWC vice-world-champion in the Indipendent Team section.
Lorenzo Zanetti continues to amaze, he ended the CIV SBK in the third step of the podium, like the rookie Benny Rasa in the 660 Aprilia cup, while Davide Conte conquered the MTE SSP300 Trophy. The Team Founds, thanks to the fives podiums, conquered the third step of the podium of the F2 British Sidecar Championship, exactly like Leonardo Carnevali in the CIV SSP300. In Spain, Fernández Beñat raced both on track and on supermotard ending respectively second and third in Moto4 and 85cc. To conclude, Yeray Ruiz ended in the second place the Yamaha R3 Blu Clu Challenge and the SSP300.
To resume, at the end of the fourth season back to the world of the track speed, the Airohriders achieved a lot of victories bringing the total to over 500 podiums, a great proof of the commitment of the company based in Bergamo, both from the technical support and the safety of the young riders points of view.
This 2021 goes to archive, meanwhile we are already working on the next season, where the commitment will be even more important.
