Leon Camier, thirty-three years old from Ashford and Airoh, leading manufacturer of helmets, signed a two-year agreement that will see the British rider take part in the FIM Superbike World Championship wearing the new top of the range helmet from the Bergamo-based company.

Riding Barni Racing Team Ducati V4R, Leon will wear the GP550 S, an helmet that redefines the level of performance on the road and track; conceived in the wind tunnel and developed by Airoh's know-how, the GP550 S is at the top of the racing segment.

Camier, three times British champion in the 125cc, Supersport and Superbike classes respectively, also brings MotoGP world championship experience, but his career has mainly taken place in the production motorcycles based Superbike World Championship where he has been present continuously for the last eleven seasons, starting from his debut in 2009.

2020 will see him join the Barni Racing Team riding a Ducati V4R; a top-level motorcycle whereby Leon and Airoh will hunt for success in the thirteen World SBK rounds.

The first race on the track is set for the last weekend of February on the Phillip Island circuit where the Australian round will inaugurate the new racing season.
