An exciting season beginning for AIROH riders, unquestioned protagonists of Italian Enduro Championship, the hegemony of Overall Classification and the victory of 300 2T class and of the Classification reserved for foreign riders. This is the result of the seasonal opening round, that took place last Sunday, on March 7th in Passirano, in Franciacorta. A race perfectly organised by Moto Club RS77 in compliance with the anti-covid-19 normative, where the access to paddocks and special races were reserved for riders and authorised personnel only, and no gathering was allowed at the sides of the five special races, that have been clocked 18 times.
At the end of the last race day, the Overall victory went to the British ace Steve Holcombe, who preceded his team mate, Brad Freeman of Beta Factory team, as the young New Zealander Hamish Macdonald with the official Sherco of CH-Racing Team of Fabrizio Azzalin, ended up on third position.
In the Overall Classification, AIROH ended up on fifth position with the Belgian Antoine Magain, on sixth position with the English Daniel Mccanney, on tenth position with Andrea Verona, on eleventh position with Theo Espinasse, on thirteenth position with Samuele Bernardini.
In the various classes, AIROH ruled 300 2T class with Rudy Moroni before Gianluca Martini.
In 250 4T class second and third place of the podium with Andrea Verona and Samuele Bernardini.
Triple strike for AIROH in the parade reserved for foreign riders, in the sequence, with Holcombe, Freeman, MacDonald. Fifth position for Magain, sixth for McCanney, eighth for Espinasse, tenth for Alex Snow.
